It is with great excitement that I am able to communicate that we have finally secured our 2010-2011 mission trips to Mozambique!
As many of you know, we sent an exploration team in April with the intent of logistical planning and trip development for future teams. The highlight of this trip was witnessing World Hope drill the first 12Stone well. Our commitment to the 100 wells program was confirmed as literally hundreds of people lined up to receive clean water for the first time. We were able to catch this initial drilling on video, of which a portion was shown during Sunday services a few weeks ago.
After the well was drilled, we had the opportunity to share the gospel and to make connection with the Living Water; it was truly an amazing experience! So without further delay I am thrilled to give those who expressed initial interest in knowing more about our efforts in Mozambique the first chance at becoming a member of one of these first two teams to travel in September 2010 and April 2011. Additional trips will be posted online in the coming weeks.
